In the interest of peace and tranquility, I have started a new thread entitled Photos of Early Morning.

Why not post one of your photos made during a 'quieter, gentler' state of inspiration ?

Re: People getting paid to post disinformation

when did i say i would not hire a professional to do the work they are trained for ?

the statement i made was about taste, not about anything other than that,
you have turned what i said into something to suite your own needs ...

you have asserted many times that because of your credentials,
your opinion and opinions about taste should be respected more than others ...
because of your credentials, your statements about the quality of someone's artwork
or whether someone's photography should actually be considered "art" at all, should be
    given more weight than someone else's ( a lay-person ) ...

    i disagree.

perhaps your expertise and credentials are used as a lead-in for a gallery owner
to show that you aren't "just some guy with a camera who takes pictures of stuff a few times a month"
and this sort of thing appeals to "sophisticated clients"

as i said, your opinions about art, value of artists work, whether they pander to
the gallery or art school communities &c, are opinions,
and if marvin the plumber logged in and had an opinion contrary to yours
it would be just as valid as yours.

i am not sure why you are insisting your opinions are the only valid ones ...

Immediately deleting post #25 would have been a better approach. However, since that didn't happen, and what's been posted since then is mostly intact (not to mention ongoing), there's no time like the present to act.
