Pome, (with appologies to W.S. Gilbert)

I am the very model of a digital photographer,
I take so many pictures I don't care how good or bad they are,
I chimp and shoot without a thought of composition near and far,
I am the very model of a digital photographer.

Have you submitted this to any photo mags?

    Bill,

Your "pome" might be more entertaining if there was at least a grain of truth to it.

Bill, you gave me a smile this morning It is so true of so many people who own such cameras (I won't refer to them as photographers)

So, film is better than digital, isn't it?

The anti digital crowd always give me a smile too. Their snobbery and distorted sense of superiority are their most amusing traits. Ironically they're generally the one's producing the same old stale uninspiring work... exactly the type of stuff your mother in law photographs from the tourist view points with her supermarket digital but of course without the pretensions to being anything other than a happy snapper. Just look at their web sites for evidence. They hardly share an artistic bone among them. Just stuffy old middle age men and women much more concerned with their toys and equipment over anything else.

    Kev,
I don't need a website to be stuffy, old and middle age.

Actually, this is autobiographical, written for the benefit of a good friend who shoots superb 8x10 and is amused because she implies that I "talk LF a lot but mostly shoot digital."

...but it doesn't rhyme!?! Or is it rap (as opposed to a rap).
