    Dallmeyer Catalogues

I have made available scans of the 1869 Lens list and the 1881 and 1900 Dallmeyer catalogues.

    www.samackenna.co.uk/1869lens_list

    www.samackenna.co.uk/1881catalogue.pdf

    www.samackenna.co.uk/1900catalogue.pdf

The two catalogues take a bit of time to download.

What is interesting is the almost zero inflation in 19th. century Britain, a 3B is £18:10 in 1869 and £19 in 1900.

The gold standard, cheap grain imports from North America and mechanisation kept inflation down to a minimum. WW1 was the turning point!
    Much appreciated - Sean!
