Uh, that site wants me to permit execution of scripts from fourteen different sources? That must be the record holder among sites that aren't openly hostile...

Please educate me, how do you know that?
It is a pet peeve of mine, I have a bunch of plugins to flush this cookie that DSL etc, but always willing to learn more about it.

At one time, the Times did not want to allow you to sign up unless it was via their Facebook or Twitter pages.

As someone who has shot the Cirque many times, I can't tell enough how how RARE that type of access to the artists is!!
I would take a pot shot guess that the LA market is vital to the Vegas venue's survival, but I can tell you with absolute certainty they are NOT that friend with their own home town media!!

He had a very rare opportunity!

and I'm so envious! I'd have loved to have had such an opportunity. That day, I enjoyed the show but no pictures! I'm not sure I would have chosen diptychs of identical poses, but maybe that's just my jealousy!

I'd have done more on stage! But with what lenses?

How would other's have shot them?

    Don't be,
there is nothing glamorous about the industry wide cattle calls, oops, Photo Calls.

    On stage?
    Not on your life!
They don't want any well lit shots of the stage area.
(that is sort of understandable as everyone tries to copy their tricks)

They banish you to the back row (ie you need at least a 200 2.8, a 300 2.8 is best, a 400 2.8 is too long for most of the acts), just below the TV cameras, act like if you move an inch or scratch your ear, you might tilt the planet and crash the gods!
And by the way.... you are the Luckiest soul on earth to be here!
(NO, it is my job and it helps you sell tickets!)

Firefox with the Noscript extension lists all scripts the page desires to run.
