I was recently working with DPP on a project and had some up in an exhibition. I came to the conclusion that experimentation with developer is required. On the assignment I only had PQ and Dektol but at the end I happened to have a pack of Foma PW developer which did give very warm tones and more controlled contrast but never reached full black. That led me to start thinking about slower developers, Foma is glycin based. I'm back home now so can experiment but it is not a good time of year for light.
    Thank you!

I want to try some more film developers in a tray, especially Ilfosol 3, to see if the same blue-yellow affect arises and how the images develop differently in that setting.

Is FB DPP selling well enough?

I was using RC DPP and was very disappointed in the cancelation just as I was getting the hang of it.

    My first Harman DP copy

    ISO 3
    HC-110 1+31 5min
    Stop bath 1min
    Fixer 5 min

I think is over developed... next I will reduce the concentration

Maybe try using a paper developer like Dektol & remember you can develop under proper safe light so you can pull it at full development but not over developed.. That is one of the great things about shooting paper negatives.

And much better results using Ilford multigrade:
    ISO 5
    Multigrade 1+14 6 min
    Stop bath 1 min
    Fixer 4 min
I think my process is fully qualified for this paper.

    Pedro,
That's a nice result with great tonality. Did you use a preflash?
