Ahh yes, reliable, LOL... You need mechanical skills for these old bikes.
Ahh yes, reliable, LOL... You need mechanical skills for these old bikes.
I rode a 1973 Triumph 750 coast to coast in winter 1980. Set the points every other day. Installed new clutch in parking lot in San Antonio. I always fix my own bike, nobody touches it. I do my own tires, carry what I need. I bought new 1998 Monster and the dealer could not get it started. They were about to removes carbs and I forced them to not touch it. It was a pinched hose, took me 20 seconds. Later they would not let me do my own handlebar recall, but of course they broke the switch gear. I never ride anybodies bike as I don't trust the last mechanic. I inspect my bike every time I get on it, it's parked outside here. I was Foreman of 10 mechanics for 20 years, I am be very insistent on quality wrenching, by the book. I am a PITA.

Why does a chicken coop have two doors?
Because if it had four doors it would be a chicken sedan.
