it all has to do with the money!!! for the price a FR//DORAN next Yankee then 4X5 Film tanks and Hangers then after that it all go to HE__ price wise
AT ower school I have 1 of almost every way to process 4x5 what I like are the old
Kodak adjustable tank & reel for easy loading next Yankee OR BTZS
I also like Angelus Color tank & Price Monotank they are Daylight Tanks that use
hangers.
I don't like HP Combi-Plan for students they have to much trouble with them!!
Nikor & JoBo reels are harder to load then Kodak & Yankee

That is why they are used at so many schools for half a century!

My favourite is the Paterson Orbital, assuming you can find one. They seem to be more readily available via the UK (which is where I sourced mine from).

Sort of like a daylight tray, which can do four 4x5", two 5x7" or one 8x10", and uses very little developer. Very, very easy to load.

I'm liking this one a lot. It can do 4x 4x5 or 2x 5x7 or 1x 8x10. A daylight tray! 500ml of chemistry, small footprint, the film is fully submerged all the time. Best of all you don't have to mess with anything to load them. Just open the lid and put the sheets in there.
