Post Photos of YOURSELF with your camera

I recently took a digital photo class at the local college to get down at least the basics of photoshop, etc. On the first day of class the instructor pointed out the features of a DSLR and said I hope nobody would ever turn in an assignment using the built in flash because it causes harsh shadows. Our first assignment was to use a long shutter speed to record motion. I handed in this:

That's really clever!! Haha!!! Also hard to do, did you "write" backward or flip the image digitally?

Just wrote normally with a laser pen in the dark, then got into position and popped the flash. Now I regret selling the Graflex flash to some kid so he could make a light sabre.

What grade did you get on your assignment? I would hope it was an "A".

Yea he shot it with his digital, oh the irony!!!

LOL! Me too, but mine was a "selfie." Imagine trying a selfie with an 8x10. Filming that would make one funny YouTube video.

There's an image of 3 guys taking a selfie with a box camera (probably whole plate I reckon?) it's huge and the 3 are holding there arms out, it was taken probably in the 20's based on the clothing and cityscape. But I'm no historian.
