    Steven,

Yes, it is a beautiful car and I love to drive it. The original 4 speed with Hurst gear shift is so nice to row through the gears with. The bright red color shows it off so much with all this B&W photography!

Reinhold -- great shot. Just curious; when you're out and about photographing, do you seek permission before you venture onto private property, or do you just forge ahead and take the photos?
I ask this, because over the years, I've passed up more nice photo opportunities simply because I was reluctant to go on someone's property. If I see someone out, I'll ask, but I generally lack the courage to just start setting up my tripod and camera.
What's the old saying: It's better to act and seek forgiveness afterwards than to pass up a shot because the photographer was too chicken to get out of his car.

    Ben:

If the gate's closed, keep out. If it's open, proceed with caution (you're still trespassing).
If you get caught, hand them your business card (be "up front", act civilly, be friendly (if possible).
Show interest in the history of the place (was it Grampa's, how long ago, etc.??).
I've had some that opened up with their story (after an initial stern, grumpy session).
Be aware that today's social climate has changed, suspicion is justified.
Take off your sunglasses, shake hands (if possible) when leaving.
You may have just made a friend...

So true. Nothing like an all American Muscle Car. Those were the days.
