Same here in Missouri Jack... they have been disappearing so fast around here that my whole summer is dedicated to photograph as many barns as I can find. Supposedly the state of Missouri has the most barns of any state so I have a lot of subjects to work with. Last weekend I hit the road here in the Ozarks and found some great barns that I had a chance to photograph with my new 6x17 camera, I can't wait until I get the film back!

Facade, Zanci Station
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa MCC 111 VC FB Classic photographic paper, image size 19.5cm X 25.3cm, from a 4x5 Tmax 400 negative exposed in a Tachihara 45GF field view camera fitted with a 21cm f4.5 Voigtlander Heliar lens. Zanci station is near Lake Mungo in the largely treeless semi-desert of south-west New South Wales, Australia. The pairing of the tree stump on the right and the tree shadow on the left is the usual heavy handed symbolism; seemed neat at the time.
