I'm pretty sure it's just the brightness up a bit too much on my monitor. I just changed to Lightroom from CaptureOne Pro and did a direct upload to SmugMug so hopefully nothing there.

    Vandalised Building, Yaraka
Gelatin-silver photograph on Ilford MG IV FB VC, image size 24.3cm X 19.3cm, made by projection from a 4x5 TriX Pan Professional negative exposed in a Linhof Master Technika camera fitted with a Schneider Symmar-S 150mm f5.6 lens. Clear malice.

    Fixed the issue

    Horseman 45HD / Fujinon 90mm f8 / Ilford FP4+ / DDX

@baro-nite: Thanks for your help and compliment! It was the display brightness as well as an export issue, I think its fixed now. This is my first Black and White export since changing to Lightroom.

I went back to the Campbell House (I posted some 645 photos in the Everything Else forum) with the Chamonix 4x5 and some FP4+, developed in Diafine and scanned on the X1:

This is the picture of a sofa in an old abandoned building near Lake Maggiore, Italy. The building was built around a middle age tower. It contains some interesting objects and rooms. Here an example:

Beautifully sublime. Great use of color, Austin.

I'm guessing you were part of the 5x7 Portra 400 special order.

Thanks Trent. This is from a 4x5 (Portra) neg. I'm not committed to color enough to order a bunch of 5x7. I shoot color film occasionally, but it always makes me feel like a bit of an impostor. :-)
