Terrific Merg, I like the way the point of the shadow takes your eyes away from the center of the photograph. Lot of parallel lines.

Thank you Alan, always nice to hear from you. I have exhibited a slightly different photograph of the mission taken in 1967. I had not printed this version, from the same day in 1967, until recently. Have been going through sixty-five years of negatives and prints, discarding as I go. This one I think I'll keep.

I've been photographing this place for about ten years now. The shingles continue to fall off, revealing the original slats beneath.

For the first picture, I used a Nikkor 180. The film was Tri-X. I can't remember on the older, bottom photo, but it was 5x7 film, and most likely a Fujinon 250.
