Nice. I am being relocated to Oklahoma City for work. Sucks for landscape photography. Anyone know of any place in OK worth photographing? I am going to be doing a lot of travel. At least once a month to CO, AZ, etc to photograph. 10 years from now I will retire and move home to AZ and retire somewhere in Flagstaff. But for now, I got a job, and the ability to go places to keep photographing. The other photographing/research I will be doing will be astrophotography/astronomy. Working towards 4x5 images of the heavens as well along with the digital stuff.

Don't be too quick to write off Oklahoma--it's got a lot of geological/ecological diversity, everything from exposed granite/sandstone in the Wichita and Arbuckle Mountains, to a really neat section of the Ouachita's (e.g the San Bois Mountains.) Of course, further afield down in McCurtain Country in the extreme southeast corner, there are cypress swamps that wouldn't look out of place in Louisiana, and the Great Plains pretty much start a bit north of you. You're not going to find Monument Valley, of course, but if you go out with an open mind, you might find something worth pointing a camera at.

I really like the layers and tones working together here. Foreground layer of mixed tones and nice lines, Dark textured middle layer, high contrast higher key back layer. Nicely put together.
