A wee confusion. Plastigmat was a trade name of Bausch & Lomb and the lenses were of their own proprietary design. So nothing to do with Zeiss, in fact they were a cheaper lens to circumvent paying the license fees to Zeiss which they had to do with the similar but better Protar. Plastigmat was always two identical opposing symmetrical elements and while B&L claimed them to be 'convertible' they were poor when used alone. More like a Dagor than a Protar. Anyways, very cool photo. I would enjoy visiting those ghosts myself.

Jim - thanks for the correction and help! Evidently my mind was thinking Zeiss Protar and was confused.
The long weekend trip in the Panhandle was very nice with so many cool things to make images of. The most difficult part was getting the room totally dark at night to unload and load the 8x10 film holders.
