Abandoned Military Hospital - Fort McDowell (Angel Island)

I took this some years back with the Toyo 45cf while touring the island on my bicycle. I distinctly remember taking the shot but can't remember exactly how I printed it. It must be a salt print toned with gold on what appears to be watercolor paper. I was using Fabriano Aristrico Extra White back then and the paper sits exactly on my Kodak 5x7 contact printing frame but there doesn't appear to be coating marks immediately adjacent to the negative but they do appear at the outer fringes of the paper. Maybe I applied Blick's white masking tape which I did back then. Anyway I am impressed with the 4x5 contact print although at the time the shadows bothered me. For a little info on the site see https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=1307

Here's another one from the same trip:

This time I scanned the whole sheet (~5x7") and you can see where the emulsion "leaked" under the tape and if you look carefully see the tick marked I placed to mark out the negative. A bench protruded into the view that I was not aware of when I shot the negative but I am impressed with the size of the 4x5 contact print - not too shabby IMO. After all 4x5 would be half plate back in the day. This is a view of the oldest hospital at Camp Russell before the name was changed to Fort McDowell. Here's another one from the same trip:

This structure is located at the rock quarry where stone for buildings on the island (and Alcatraz) was quarried from. All of the images in this thread were taken with the 150mm Apo Sironar-S which folds-up with the camera. A fourth image was taken with a 90mm f4.5 Grandagon. All were contact printed as gold-toned salt prints. The 90mm, 150mm and 300mm Nikkor-M are the lenses that I usually pack for Bicycle touring and backpacking along with a Series 0 CF Gitzo. To my thinking the 4x5 contact print is a viable alternative to the 8x10.

PS: The white wisps at the top are from passing clouds/fog.
