    Have you done a dry scan and compared?

    Yes,

    Its a touch sharper with the wet scan, But I set my mount to a height of 1.2 mm. The wet scan looks a touch better. I'm using an epson 4990. Scanning at 2400 and using silverfast

    How did you know 1.2mm was the correct height for best focus? Wouldn't you have to check different heights to find the focal point, first with a wet scan and then with a dry scan? While I never did a wet scan, I did find that there was a considerable difference in focus with my V850 doing dry scans with the furnished holders even with ones of the same format. (The scanner comes with two film holders for each of the different formats.)

    Terrific Merg, I like the way the point of the shadow takes your eyes away from the center of the photograph. Lot of parallel lines.
