    Printing issues - help please

I am at a friends house trying to get his R2400 to print correctly. His colors are too light compared to what they need to be on the print. He is working with a calibrated monitor on a Mac with CS5.

We tried different files and different papers (last used was Epson Exhibition paper with the photo black ink) and also his older titanium laptop with CS3.

Lastly we tried to take the same file with the same print settings and printed it from my macbook Pro (with CS4) connected to the same 2400 printer. The print comes out fine.

I am at a loss. I don't know where to go next to help him out.

The file is in Adobe RGB. In the print settings I choose Photoshop manages color and I choose the proper paper profile, and then choose the Luster paper (for the epson paper) in the epson dialog.

Any ideas? Am I overlooking something?

    Thanks for any help...

Have you gone into the advanced tab abd adjusted the ink levels that way?

no...wouldn't want to do that. But I figured out the problem. Thanks anyway, Gary.

Turns out I had to delete his 2400 and re-add it. For some reason he had a different print settings dialog, and I just though ti was due to it being in CS5, but when I re-added his 2400, the print dialog looks like it normally does to me. Everything now prints as it should.

Weird that happened, don;t know why, but it's fixed now.
