Fotoman 6x17 + Fujinon SW 90/8 + Kentmere Pan 100/510 Pyro
Image shot at my local library--where I test new gear (and film).
This is my first experience shooting with Kentmere Pan 100 film.
The Fotoman 6x17 camera, which is new to me also, is seeing its third roll of film.
Until now, my go-to 120 film for testing purposes was Fomapan.
However, my satisfaction with it dwindled over time.
On a recent visit to B&H, I navigated to the B&W film section and sorted the options by the lowest cost.
To my delight, Kentmere emerged as one of the top choices, priced at $5.xx per 120 roll.
Kentmere Pan 100 is now my preferred test film, and I wanted to share my experience with those who might not know about Kentmere Pan 100.
It comes in 400, too, but I like to shoot my test film in the same ASA as my non-test film (Acros II).
I see simongg is making some great images with it!![]()
