WOW this image is really striking. She looks as though you surprised her. I love nude photography that has a more natural look in the pose and setting. This image fits those criteria for me. There are so many, too many, images where the pose looks contrived and the model looks "Playboy" perfect and airbrushed.
You have done a great job in this image!

Ben, agian you have captured an image that is "believeable". It doesn't look overly "posed" or contrived. Wonderful shot and excellent work by the model too!

Curious as to how you mounted and released the Mamiya lens? I shoot an RB67 so I have several of these wonderful lenses and have thought it would be fun to try to use them on a LF camera!

    "Nina Close Up"

My first experiment with LF during a "Meet Up" shoot. It's a shame I got in a hurry and cropped her fingers. But I only had 5 minutes and am still very new to the world of LF in that I've only done a few dozen shots.

I love the exposure, and I don't usually like studio work but I like that backdrop (I think it's a backdrop anyway).

If I may critique, I would have turned her slightly so that the implant lines didn't show on the inner side if her chest quite as much, and it does look like there's a little shake or movement? I do love the light, it's pleasant and overall this is a nice shot, the gray tones are also really nice.

    thanks..
I don't mind the implant lines..she has 'em afterall
    scars don't bug me neither

I will 'soften' stretchmarks - cause I'm a hella nice guy

the backdrop is a cheap ebay muslin scenic.. I keep my eyes peeled for ones that are not too garish
    - I have two being custom made for me right now infact

movement..ah yes.. I think.. the ambient light was too high and I got kind of a double exposure when I removed the derby hat from the lens and before I hit the flash button on the meter and put the hat back on.

BUT.. I'm kind of liking it.. I might try to get that effect on some of the pix next time

I can always use a ND filter and up the strobe power to kill that..but..again..I sort of dig it

Cool info on cheap eBay backdrops

I also kind of like the "shake" it sort of softens the image in a really pleasant way so I can see where you're coming from.

Glad it wasn't taken poorly. Keep it up! It's always good when there's a next time
