It is superb. The scary part was I bought a big outfit from a guy not far from you to get the Ries that was with it, and that box of paper was included. I threw it in the trash and thought to myself later, I ought to at least check it. Contactone sounds like it might be a chloride paper like Azo, so I pulled it out of the trash, and exposed a 4X5 neg exactly like I would with AZO and it was perfect. Then I tested for fog and it was perfect. Color me happy! It is Gaevert without the AGFA which dates it at least to 1964.

Lucky you! It was my all time favorite chloride paper; nice surface, too.

I just finished a 1971 glass bottle with rubber stopper of Rodinal that came with that same purchase. It looked like Coca Cola syrup. Worked fine.
