Linhof Master Technika gridded ground glass guides

I got myself a Master Technika and am slightly confused by the bold line stating 9x12cm on the ground glass. In all my other cameras I have composed right to the edges of ground glass and expected everything to be within my frame. Can I compose to the edges of my Linhof's ground glass and expect everything to be within the frame of a sheet of 4x5 film? Thanks in advance.

Jordan: 9x12 is a smaller format than 4x5, with an image area nominally 83x114mm compared to 96x120mm for 4x5. Modern holders in both formats will fit the camera, though, because the external dimensions are either the same or very close. Hence the extra marking, for the convenience of 9x12 users.

Thanks Oren. So to the edges and corners of my glass is what I'll get on my negative?

Yes. Hold a sheet of film on top of the GG and you will see they are the same size.
