Top loading soft case for 8x10 Kodak 2D

I would like to find a soft sided case for a 8x10 kodak 2D that I can put down on the ground and work out of. If possible I woudl like to keep the price under $150 or so. It woud be great if I could use a shoulder strap or even cary it like a backpack. Am I dreaming?

Would a Tamrac 750 or 752 backpack fit your need?

My 2D goes out in an older LoewPro Super Trekker back pack. I use it with the shoulder harnes stowed and tote it short distances with a single snap on shoulser strap. It holds the camera with lens, two film holders dark cloth, meter, loup etc.

In use; the bag goes on the ground and the front opens up W-I-D-E. There is a built-in rain cover/sunshield.

There are only three types of mounting flanges; too big, too small and wrong thread!

That's it. Can you point me to a source for that, please?

I've used one of these for a couple of years. Unc. Sam took the initial hit. I've seen them as low as $6 each at surplus stores. The 2D fits in perfect and is well protected.

The insulated water can bag is also available here for $14.95 (in Tan or Olive) and here (in Tan only) for $19.95. Lists dimensions as 19" tall x 16" wide x 9 1/2" deep.

The site attributes it to Ed Weston, and I've seen another source saying that Brett said it.
