Things on Sinar DBM board

I just got a set of Sinar DMB mounted lens
on the back of the board are little shiny sprung metal strips
what are these for
they do not connect to anything on my Sinar shutter

I think they are the Code Sinaron Plates DB/DBM for automatic recognition of DB/DBM lenses when used with Sinar Expolux Shutter.
Just leave it there even if you do not use the Expolux Shutter.
