The Belgium version of the Voigtlander Unversal Heliar - LABOR 300mm F3.5made by OIP. In good condition with lens board. 316.50 usd (including auction fees of 9%). Wehave had a few owners here of this lens!
Nederlands ebay- type auction (but with extra 2minute extensions for every late bid ) last night.
The engravings showing both the f values for the iris ring and the front turn ring for soft control are not discernable. So there is a chance it might be a non-soft version of this Cooke patent triplet design. My guess is that the markings are just covered with dirt.
6" TTH RV £176 (~$224) - 254004031684
Another pair of TTH lenses with a casket - were they were sold this way as an old style 'kit'?
From sellers description: '6 1/2 x 4 3/4 R.V. lens EQ focus 10.65 inches No 14272' and '6 1/2 x 4 x1/2 Wide angle rectilinear WAR EQ Focus 4.1 inches No 15454' in a 'velvet and satin lined box / case complete with TTH name in gold on the top'.
Item 25401644259 - it made £530 (~$667)
Hermagis Eidoscope 150mm f4.7 (a 'No 1' I think) - front and rear cells for fitting into Copal or Compur shutter, in a brown leather case.
264079403493 - EUR 426 (~ £383, or $482).
Hermagis used the reverse system in numbering sizes - so number 1 is the third largest size ( there are sizes 0 and 00)!
This 150mm sold in a mini casket was a one size special offer made from 1927 for a few years.
It was called the "Eidoscope Amateur" and was developed for the thousands of 9x12cm cameras in Europe.
There are two smaller Eidoscope lenses around, made for the cine market. No. 6 and 7, 75mm and 50mm resp.
And whilst we are on the subject of Eidoscope there was an auction for a no.1 (223284751423) this week. The auction site has many BIN Eidoscopes - mostly at a price which excludes a sale. It went for 1550 usd with many, many bids. It seems pretty clear that the confidence that comes from there being bid competitors is necessary to sell high value items!
