    Gelatin-silver photograph on Fomabrom Variant111 FB VC, image area 24.7cm X 19.5cm, from a Fomapan 200 negative exposed in a Tachihara 8x10 camera with a 400mm single meniscus lens set at f11.

    I've recently modified an Imagon by replacing the strainer with an iris, an idea I got from Mark Sawyer, I think. Went for a walk yesterday with the Imagon on my Linhof and CameraFusion digital back:

    It's a magical meniscus, and I don't have to worry about the highlight patterns that the strainer aperture often gives.

    Mesmerized! I never thought I would covet a CameraFusion digital back, but.....
