    steptablet from scanner target

    Hello,

Here in east europe is hard to get a steptablet. Only if order from U.s. or from west europe. The other problem is that it is expensive to me. I was thinking ab out the scanner target which i find in my office. This 9x13 cm target includes 2 4 steps from pure white to the darkest black. Can I somehow get this gray scale from photopaper to film ?

    Thanks a lot for advices

    As always

"Can I somehow get this gray scale from photopaper to film ?"Sure you can, if you don't care if the density steps are at all accurate.

Why not just buy some ND filter gels?
