Kern timber tripod - anyone got one?

If so, are they any good?

Seems that they're primarily Surveyors' tripods…

    Thanks in advance.

I have the aluminum version which I use when standing in marsh, ponds, and rivers. It will work fine if you get the camera adapters which are available on line. An alternative is the wooden Berlebach tripod which I also own and is my every day tripod.
