    8x10 color negative film stock

I am about to begin piecing together an 8x10 camera system, but I am concerned about the availability and cost of raw stock. I plan to shoot color negative exclusively. I would appreciate any information as to what stocks are still produced, recommendations so far as quality, and tips for acquiring film at a discounted and more reasonable prices.

buy here first, then eb*y second, some regular dealers will mark down nearly expired film...going price seems around $4 a sheet for expired, but well-stored film

for retail comparison shopping, check Badger Graphic, Adorama, or B&H

ebay, craigslist, other websites for classifieds...

and make friends with your local photo store film-counter employees. Good relationships can sometimes warrant you discounts.

so far, this is what I know for sure is still available:

    160NC
    160VC
    400NC
    Ektar 100

idk if Fuji 160S will be brought out again in LF(seeing that they discontinued it completely a few months back, along with all their other pro c-41 emulsions save 400h(400h is only available in 35mm, 120 and 220 formats, not sheets) )
