Speed Graphic and Balopticon 7" E.F. projection lens. Not quite the coverage but dig the look. 1/500 @ f/4.5ish. 30yr of expired Tri-x. The film is only 5 yrs younger than me!

Those frigid markers look ancient ... extremely weathered.

A winter-time cemetery in Minnesota? Brrr.

Glad you took your aging Tri-x there to be shot, not buried.

(Drew's second shot above looks like a tree awaiting burial.)

Drew - what a coincidence. Not only do we have the same name, but I wasn't aware
anyone else knew about the little cemetery at Pt Reyes- most people drive right past it. But frankly, it has driven me nuts trying to get a good angle, and I've typically ended up walking away with just some good detail shots of the trees.

Infrared and cemeteries just seem to go well together.

I guess I just do a better job of reading signs than most folks do. I didn't know it was there until I saw it on a sign while driving to another location, so I made a mental note to hit it on the way out.

    Re: Cemeteries

Here's a shot at a nearby cemetery I like to photograph fairly often. This is the back of the chapel. There was some maintenance being done so the back door and bulkhead doors are open but it doesn't seem to be too distracting. The particulars:

    Omega 4x5 - 1:5.6 210mm Fujinon
    Ilford FP4+ in HC-110 Dil. B 9 min.

    Barry: Nice.

I guess I'm going to have to get a Petzval someday.

All natural images are analog. But the retina converts them to digital on their way to the brain.
