To me that looks like the copy camera the Department of Geology and Geography used when I was in college in the 70's. They were teaching students how to draw topographic maps by hand and then use the camera to copy the maps 1:1 for printing. Since I was not majoring in that field, I only saw the camera once--the students in Geology 101 were given a tour of the department's facilities. The camera took up a whole room in the building.

    Hello,

We have a camera very similar to this in our facility in So Cal. It was built in 1982 and we no longer have a need for it. Does this camera have any value or would anyone have use for it?

    Thanks,
    Paul

I was once given a far bigger process camera. I cannibalized the lenses and the vac back. Everything else went to landfill.

Sometimes people make the guy, it's alway a guy, haul the thing out as a way of getting the thing they want which is the lens. Vacuum pumps are nice also if working and not contaminated by misuse. Even the vac back board may be useful.

It all depends and you are in a location with 1000's of possible users.

    Craigslist.

Five-year old thread. I wonder if the guy from Nigeria still needs this camera right away? I wonder what ever happened to the 890mm Nikkor.

Paul did you finally find a home for this large format camera? I too have one that is vertical instead of horizontal here in the Northeast.
