    soft focus landscape

I recently start to use soft focus lenses for landscape photography. I like the mood and atmosphere that this expensive things help to create. So let's see what others have in their pockets .

I'll start with some forest photos. I posted two in other threads, but who cares?

    Cheers,
    Marko

    Marko,

Nice shots. What lens did you use for each. I have a 250mm f:5.6 Fuji SF that I am just getting to know.

Ummm, I think that the first one is with Eidoscope, the second shoud be Cooke Series II and the third one is with home-made replica of Puyo adjustable.

    Thanks

Thanks Jim! I like yous too.
But it looks like this thread is going nowhere! Come on folks, do you soft focus users just photograph people ?

Here is a couple more from my file: first one is with home made replica of Puyo's adjustable landscape and the second one is technically not a soft focus as it was made with Cooke series II, but it was at full soft and wide open.

    Cheers,
    Marko

Both are lovely. Did you see the Puyo that sold on Ebay a week or 2 ago. I was second high bidder but no way to tell how much more it would have taken to tip over the winners bid. Your lens has a look almost identical to the Oscar Zwierzina Plasticca.

    Re: soft focus landscape

    Hi Marko

This thread maybe a slow burner but a valid one! I have been looking with one eye to the landscape and the other to still-life when testing soft-focus lenses. My still-life space is below my studio window and through the window some trees and a long-stay car park (still a landscape), so when a new lens arrives I look at both. There is a big clue is in the name of one lens "Port-Land" so lets see some more of the Land(scape).

    Regards
    Sven

    Re: soft focus landscape

I am in the process of making 9x9 lens boards for my little soft collection so contributions will come during the Spring. Out of the window counts as landscapes doesn't it - the 10A isn't that transportable?
