WHICH FILM instead of ADOX ?

Which 50-100iso film do you find very similar in tonality and graphic to Adox ART50 & ART100? I like the Adox look very much but its soft emulsion makes a few serious troubles in developing process that forces me to look for another (similar) film.

Want to use it for landscape with favourite D-76.

    I like Foma 100/Foma 200.
It's good in my home brewed D-76H 1-1.
    Works for me.

I second Foma 100. Great film for its price.

Is FOMA 100 a higher contrast film or lower contrast?

I need 50-100iso film with lower contrast for landscape in bright sunlight.

I was considering Ilford HP4+ but it will add contrast to the bright scenes.

BTW, is not Foma 100 a great film for long exposures >1 Sec.?

Foma 100 is quite contrasty, and its long exposure behaviour is one of the worst of all modern films.
If you need a low contrast film with good Schwarzschild characteristics, then this film isn't exactly what you're looking for.
However, depending on what you're shooting, the Schwarzschild effect is not necessarily a bad thing. You could use it to your advantage.

Fomapan 100 & 200 are excellent films once tamed, cut the box speed in half & drop the dev times to 2/3rds and they are far better behaved and great tonality. I've been using them in 120, 5x4 and 9x12 sizes.

The reciprocity is nothing like as bad as Foma's data-sheets suggest, I tested both films last spring with some practical low light level images and found my own adjustment times for 1 second & 10 second exposures. One problem with published reciprocity figures is they will vary depending on the actual light levels, and apertures used as well as the shutter speed so only practical testing under the conditions you intend to shoot works.

    I will give FOMA 100 a try.

Which developer would be best for contrast reducing of FP4+ and Pan-F 50?
Diluted D-76 will cope with them?

try Tmax 100. I use this after Efke 25 as my primary film for LF. M/F is pretty much all TMY-2(TMax 400)

all work great in d76, especially 1:1, HC-110 is great too

I would like to stay with old/traditional style films.

What about Kodak Professional Plus-X 125?

Is it similar to Adox 100 or Tri-x 320?
