Austin, this is a great photograph. It would be appropriate in the "Minimalism" thread as well.

    Thank you Tin Can.

Thanks Pat. As a curious aside, I noticed that if you rotate this image 180 degrees, it become convex. The brain is a strange and marvelous thing! :-)

I like that one a lot Bryan! The composition is great, and I’m impressed with your mastery of x-ray film. Bravo!

I took a hike with my Crown Graphic today, and wished I’d had either more skill with it, or a camera with more straightforward movements, or a lens with more coverage. Maybe I just need to practice more. This is with a Schneider Xenar 135/4.7, on HP5 in Pyrocat.

    Re: Abstracts

From a series of architectural abstracts I did several years ago when I lived in Los Angeles. I'd like to pick up where I left off now that I'm shooting again.

    And thank you for sharing.

And actually, the first one reminded me of something somewhat similar I did back in 2013 when I was living in Lyon.

Thank you! They do have a similar feel, don't they. Your compositions remind me of Rothko paintings but with textures where he had color.
