Daytime stars? About 10 sheets of fresh Arista EDU 5x7 have shown this effect.

Ever since this thread was started (gad...ten years ago) I have thought of these two contact prints -- finally found them (major clean-up underway...it is going to be a long winter, I believe).

One of these is a mistake. Two 4x5s a long time ago.

Got some light leak at the top because of a slight mishap with a film holder. The holder has loose locks and the dark slide slid out just a bit before I quickly pushed it back in.

Despite the bit of light leak, the image still kind of works - it looks like a bit of haze from the overhead sun.

Negative bowed in Yankee tank against another negative. What could have been because the rest of the negative looks good to me.

I dragged my Horseman HF in addition to my <ahem, digital gear> to a photography workshop much to the delight of the presenter.

I have a similar image with my cable release in the frame in 135format.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
