A wierd mistake - double exposure makes a mess....

But I kind of like it... especially the little Lacoste croc..

I've had film in the tank for months waiting to be processed and of course it didn't come out as you'd expect. This one however sat in the film holder collecting dust like crazy. When it went into the tank I noticed it was getting stuck to the wall of the tank but didn't think it would cause such a mess.
It sucks because this is one of the few images of my kid where he had the patience to pose for the camera. I posted a corrected version in April portraits.

When you leave film in the tank for months. I believe this must be fungus or mold. It won't happen again.

I’m sure you can get impressive results from this negative. If you need a darkroom to print it, just tell me.

No images but yesterday was an adventure.

    1) forgot to tighten rear standard on Chamonix so it likely moved
    2) dropped loupe in a raging river - saw it for about 10 seconds before it dove under some white water.
    3) used my 180/315 convertible lens at 315 and forgot to include the extra stops for bellows extension
    4) Composed one shot and captured it then moved to a different location and went to compose. Opened the shutter but could not see anything on the ground glass. Fiddled around a few minutes before I realized I had left the holder in place from my previous shot.

Normally that kind of day would discourage me but I was in a target rich environment.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.
