availability of 8x10 Fuji film

I just had a chance to discuss film availability with the head of sales of Fujifilm Italy.
He told me that Fujifilm has stopped production and marketing of any 8x10 film.

Is this valid everywhere or is it just Italian Fujifilm commercial policy?
(of course I wrote him with the same question, waiting for an answer...)

Hi Andrea,

My experience here in the US is that Fuji 8x10 film is getting harder to find, especially VELVIA 100 (my favorite). You can always try JAPAN EXPOSURES:

It will be a little more expensive than what you are used to...
