I have a Goerz 19" artar that is missing the retaining ring. Anyone know were I might find one or any alternative ways of mounting it?

If you use wooden lens boards you can cut the hole just the right size to thread it right into the wood... should be very snug but not a struggle to screw it all the way in.

If it's a standard lens filter diameter thread 67mm,74mm etc.. you could get a cheap UV filter break the glass out and use it as a retaining ring. A step-down or step-up ring could work as well.
