This is the end of the line when there are bills to be paid. I'm proud of my background though, repainted for this series (there are 12!) working some red and blue into the grey wash. Technika, 180mm Sironar (with a black stocking) 13x18 (5x7) Ektachrome and a single light source.

Wow. Love the lighting and the look that stocking creates. (also great to see how you light that, so effectively, with one light source).

5x7 Delta 100, 8 1/4 Dagor, unsatisfying, should have been in colour.

David, maybe a wider aperture to blur the background thereby isolating the fern.

I can't say this is the strongest composition ever, but I can say that color 5x7 sure is fun!
I can see some crops dropping the lower 1/4 of the image maybe?

    Hi Rick,
Can't get used to the idea of you lurking here. More contact than out on the streets! We should catch up and compare bellows extension soon.
