I hauled my 5x7 out for a canoe camping trip because I see these marvellous stumps every time I’m out there.

    Hi Don

Truly exceptional (imho), an image such as this deserves to 'be accompanied' by the technical notes over on your Flickr page:-

    "...Camera: Deardorff V5 5x7
    Lens: Fujinon W S 210mm f5.6
    Filter: Polarizer
Film: Ilford Multigrade IV RC Paper
    Exposure: ISO 6, f22, 15 seconds
    Movements: Full front fall
Developer: Ilford Paper Developer at 1:19 for around 45 seconds at 20 degrees, no agitation..."

Forgive me for sneaking in a picture from a 4"x5" negative here, but I thought it might be interesting for some to see what this schoolhouse looks like now, a quarter of a century later.
