Thank you Francis R - the United States development is different than France. We don't have the layering of history here. We visited our cousins in France a few years ago. I have spent some time in Paris and in northern France: Charleville, Leuze, (where my grandfather lived as a boy), Reumont, and other parts.

For sure, long history has left so many legacies in your landscapes and cities.
But the US are also part of the European immaterial culture; this is why I would like so much to visit your conuntry

Actually The Americas have very long history and a lot of infrasture over 1000's of years

We moderns took a lot of it down

I live near a huge historical city, now farmland/St Louis

Its fun that you mention Cahokia! It is on my list of places to visit, with other early sites around Saint Louis.
