    Sinar front tilt damaged.

I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be a tricky job to repair the cog connection
on my Sinar P1? It looks to me that the tilt on the lens plane has gone too far forward and is no longer acting in contact with the metal strip which is screwed to the front standard. When the knob is turned the cog pushes the metal strip forward and 'clicks' as it turns. I took off the metal strip at the front to have a look. This allowed the cog to turn freely so it looks as though the cog acting in unison with the metal strip adjusts the amount of tilt. I don't want to go too far in dismantling the assembly as I don't want to come across any hidden problems. Would anyone have any help please?

I can’t give you any advice based on personal experience, but you can download the Sinar P service manual here: http://image2output-support.com/sinar/
