Polaroid Emulsion Lift -- what type for 4x5

    Hello.

I'm trying to find out which Polaroids I can use for emulsion lift for 4x5. Is it only 59/559/79?
    Can I use Fuji FP-100?

    Thanks.

You can look here for a starting guide:

Fuji FP100C and FP100C45 will work for emulsion lift, though you come close to boiling the film to do it. Once you have the emulsion away from the backing paper, then you will need something to bond it to whatever surface you will use for the transfer, because unlike Polaroid emulsions, the Fuji Instant will not stick to other things once lifted. I tend to prefer Matte Medium, made by Speedball, to bond the emulsion onto paper.

In Polaroid, their type 669 would work well, though it was possible with 690, and those were the only colour choices that worked well for lifts. In B/W Polaroid, you could do that with 559 too. In B/W Fuji FP100B, I do not know anyone who has successfully done an emulsion lift, though transfers seem to work okay.

Please bear in mind that ALL POLAROID FILMS are discontinued. For quite some time now.
