My luck, I found this machine from Italy. Excellent condition.

It is probably the Second largest vertical enlarger on earth.

Funny you mention Italy.... I have always thought that there were only two of these being used post 2005 , one here in Toronto which is mine
and the other was in Italy... I am not aware of any other locations where this unit is.

Have you started working with this unit... It really is a dream enlarger.

I have been using it for more than 6 months. It is very good!!
It doesn't look "Big" as compared to Durst 8x10 enlarger (It looks like a monster!).

I wonder how many of this enlarger were made.

    Not Many

The one I have was purchased new by BGM Imaging in Toronto while I worked there in 1985
I believe they paid $85000 for his unit.. Yes indeed a hefty sum.

They gave it to me when they stopped analogue enlarging , along with a Durst 2000 plus a 30 inch processor.
Sometimes it pays to be a good employee and leave the company on good terms.

I put the processor to rest this year but it gave me 10 years of faithful work.
I am looking for a power cord from the transformer to the head for the Durst (lost it in one of the many moves) this is
    an incredible enlarger .
So my current darkroom moving forward will be the Deveere 515 , Durst 2000 , two Omega Condensor, a flash point light source above the dev tray, a Nuark 26k and future 30 x40 Nuark
plus a couple of enlargers in parts .

You will love this 515 as it is so smooth to work with.. I love the ability to focus and size right at easel level , makes a huge difference for us old guys.

Been almost a year since I got the garage converted to a darkroom. Photos are big sink, Besseler 810 & Jobo, Durst 1200, and Alt Process workspace. Separate dry room next door for storing equipment etc.

Nice and neat. Were the hoods custom made?

Love the hoods! Do you roll the baseboard up to the Besseler? Any alignment issues with it? L
