That's also what Home Depot told me, but I think that's because it's a new product. They had about 20 at one of my local stores (I have two within a 15 minute drive).
I decided to lean in even harder to the b&w "checkerboard" aesthetic with the two shelves I put in today. Spray-painted half each black, and also the brackets since they didn't have those in black.
Appreciate the thought but not in the cards for the moment. Been fine for several years now, with only occasional dust issues, usually when I was a bit overzealous in sanding wood inside which is of course problematic. Relatively new home construction here and the basement has been the cleanest I've ever had the pleasure of being in...better than the ratchet old shed I used to use down in south GA!
Nitpicking here, but I would probably have put the black pannel behind the enlarger to avoid any possible stray light bouncing around..otherwise: good looking set-up !

11X14 Mistake Darkroom by TIN CAN COLLEGE, on Flickr
Tin Can
My new darkroom is all done in my new house. Been two years since I had to dismantle my old one. New one is nice and big (16' x 12'). Built a new big darkroom sink - 8' long x 28" wide. Have both my old 5 x 7 Bessler enlarger and my 8 x 10 horizontal enlarger made from a 10 x 10 Durst cold light head and my old 8 x 10 Kodak 2D camera. Put up my old drafting table that my father built for me way back when I was in college. My wife doesn't understand why I still have it. But it's really sturdy and lots of good memories so I'll never get rid of it. Also - I have a full bathroom as well!!!
Now to get going with printing again.
Couple of more photos. Had to come up with some light troffers on the two windows but the seem to work fine.
