I'm building, "wall" is 64" wide. More efficient use of space, I love building darkrooms.
It's done! One year later. This is by far the nicest darkroom space I have ever had. It is in a small bedroom adjacent to our guest bathroom. It is cozy 8'x12' plus a decent sized closet. The sink is 124"x30". 20x24 printing is no problem 20x30 is tight but possible. I put the print washers in a heavy duty drawer below the sink to save space up top. The drawer is epoxied and will run on a pump that will live under the drawer (I haven't installed that yet). Floor standing Durst 138 for big prints and 8x10 negs (new homemade LED head in old Aristo housing). I have a Omega D5 Pro for 4x5 sitting on a single painted cabinet from Home depot (which works really well). Here's to printing lots of prints in 2023.

Will your darkroom just looks like such an inviting space to go create some great prints!
Nice idea also for the "tuck-away" wash station...am I correct in assuming that this can operate while fully retracted under the sink - so that you can continue to use the full sink area to do other stuff while prints are washing?
At any rate...nice work!

...also nice that the washer slides out to load to keep rinse water (or fix) off the floor while transferring prints, made even more effective by the more than adequately sized and epoxied sliding drawer - great design! I'm assuming also that those drawer slides are "heavy-duty?"
Handsome work on your site, Will. You put your equally handsome darkroom to good use!

Yes and expensive, but I figured an over design was important for good smooth operation. It has a 2x6 frame and 3/4" plywood bottom.
