    Re: Lets See Your Darkroom

Here is my current darkroom although it's in a state of constant transition (and mess). It's my fifth darkroom and it seems as though I never get one really finished before I start using it. There are two adjacent rooms connected by a doorway. A wet side and a dry side or enlarger room. The wet side has 16' of sink that I made and lined with PVC sheet material.

I keep the Jobo at the far end of the sink and shim it level with plastic shims

I also have a Kreonite 30" RA-4 color print processor that I got for free. I only fire it up when I want to run 30"x40" color prints. 20"x24" and smaller goes through the Jobo.

In the enlarger room I have the LPL enlargers wall mounted. Two are set up with mixing chambers for 4x5 and one is for color and one for B&W. This avoids opening up the enlarger to change heads or mixing chambers. I have LPL 3&4 set up for medium format with one for color and one for B&W.

It seems I can only add 4 images so...

For 8x10 format I have the Durst horizontal that I picked up for cheap. The engineering and precision of this thing never ceases to amaze me. I have a 4'x4' easel mounted to the wall that I use magnets on.

Behind the Durst I have a wall mounted roll paper cutter since so much color paper comes in rolls now.

I have another work room where I keep the light table, negative storage, densitometer and dry mount presses. It might seem spread out but in reality I spend so much time sitting during the day that moving around a bit in the darkroom is a welcome relief.

exposing room with my devere 504... (i would like it to be a 507 now that I have 6x17 to contend with!)... showing exposing platform up and then down... for mural projection on a floor mounted vac easel. I've had terrific success 'shooting' prints up to five feet long (4x5 feet) on this setup. Wet room is super unremarkable so there's no pic of that - just a six foot plastic Delta 1 sink and a safelight.
