how restrictive wil this lens be?

I have read several times that 4x5 press camera lenses
have minimal coverage on a view camera that has movements
    (I have a Nagaoka 4x5)
would like to get a reasonably inexpensive but still decent 90mm for landscape work

how restrictive would it be to purchase a
    Schneider Kreuznach 90mm f6.8 Angulon
which appears to have come off a Graflex camera

also what is a reasonable price for one of these?

    thanks

Performance is reportedly highly variable so the price would depend on age and condition. Keep in mind that the highly esteemed Ilex/Calumet 90/8 "Super Angulon" type lenses often sell for about $200.

Schneider says that the image circle is 154mm at f/16. See:

Frank ... I use the 90mm Angulon as a backpacking lens because it is so small and light ... especially compared to the Super Angulon (which I also have.) The Angulon does "cover" 4x5 pretty well straight on but very little movement is possible before you get really soft in the corners and it will start to vignette with any more robust movements.

Schneider actually recommends it for use on a 6x9cm camera ... but quite a few of us use it for 4x5.

A quick check of recently completed sales on ebay shows a range of about $100-200.

Here are a couple of links ... the first is a review of lightweight lenses (including buying tips) and the second is to a set of tests on 5 different 90mm Angulons (scroll down some to get past the super angulons): Link 1 and Link 2
