You need goats on trampolines. Have you tried even closer to the monster -- sort of raking its whole side using a little swing on the 5x7?

I enjoy this one! I would have never thought of Scotland when viewing this, it looks quite like the desert areas close to my home in Colorado.

Thanks for the comments guys: yes sometimes 10x8s come out rather differently than you might expect for the typical imagery of the location! I would probably have used a grad instead of a red filter (which had little effect!) but otherwise I like this, especially the tone, and will probably frame it. I also have colour version on Provia for a very different feel.

Good work Nick and I like the subject matter!

Here's my first albumin print from earlier this year:

From a 5x7 FP4+ negative printed in the sun on cot 160 paper. The albumin was made using ammonium chloride and the print was to toned to completion (~ 25 minutes) with gold chloride.

I'm pretty sure Freestyle used to stock the Fotospeed Argyrotype but I have just checked and see that they appear to be clearing out all Fotospeed products which would be a shame as they produce some good materials. Maybe worth checking with Freestyle.
