I haven't found it in cut sheet, though I suppose if you ordered enough of it they might be able to cut it for you.
Thanks Denny I will give this a go down the road.
Two more that are being considered for my show in August.
I will say that I am enjoying omitting the palladium stage the Palladium with gum over are for more realistic representation I think.
These solarized films are perfect for tri or duo gum IMO. When I first started the idea of making tri colour by hand I realized I needed images that were very much subjective in colour balance and density , by altering the C41 negatives in development with a burst of light I got exactly what I required.
I love the perfection of inkjet or RA4 prints but I am now starting to feel that tri gum is a perfect medium for my work.
Bob, another killer shoe. I think you're right about the palladium or platinum layer lending a more realistic representation, but I think it's a good way to handle any images with large areas of black. I don't really like the black I get from tri color, and I'm not that happy with adding a (4th) black layer of gum, though I do it occasionally.
Yes I totally agree. if I want a more rich/strong/base image then Palladium first is the key. What I wasn't doing is PVA after Palladium and I think I need to do so as my straight gums are not giving me any problem with swirl-es which were driving me crazy.
For one of my images I made a black or K negative , and instead of laying down black I layerd down strong magenta, it worked very nice to deepen the overall print.
Rather alternative - even for me..
A kind of self portrait..

So here is a twist- older batch of Arches Platine- I bought about 10 sheets of this stuff, this crap had the sticker on the face side of the paper which caused me
all kinds of problems just by the sticker creating marks.
I had two sheets left over and mixed them in with new Arches Platine- where the sticker was on the back.
The swirlies are very obvious- I have not added any gum yet, just palladium. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought it was paper. I have been taught to always
blame operator error and not the materials one uses. I am beginning to think that Arches let the ball go with this batch of paper and basically put it on the market. The sticker
may be the key .
conspiracy theory's are now floating in my head, ( did the Americans really land on the moon?)
I am switching to COT320 and Hannamuhle Paper after this body of work is finished.
