I love my Cambo Wide, but there are times where it's just too bulky (i.e., canyoneering wet canyons where a hard dry case is a must). But, the protruding handle and massive tripod head socket force me to use a much larger and heavier dry case than I'd like, which is important when it all goes on my back.

If the lens panel would fit on a standard from a Cambo monorail, I'd have a much smaller and lighter camera, like a Technar with shift. And I'd much rather buy a Cambo monorail and strip it for parts than spend more time in the shop this summer.
